The movie is the first not to highlight longtime franchise star Paul Walker, who passed away in a disastrous car accident during the shooting of Furious 7. The adventure moves to New York City in this installment, with the trailer promoting Theron’s villainous role Cipher resulting in mass disarray in the roads of Manhattan.
For The Fate of the Furious, Vin Diesel is joined by a heading back all-star cast including Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell. In addition to Theron, the series greets newcomers Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray and produced by coming back producers Neal H. Moritz, Michael Fottrell and Diesel.
On the pumps of 2015’s Furious 7, one of the most effective films to get $1 billion worldwide in box-office history and the sixth-leading global title of all time, comes the latest part in one of the most in-demand and long-term motion-picture serials in history: The Fate of the Furious.
From the coast of Cuba and the streets of New York City to the frigid plains off the arctic Barents Sea, our elite force will crisscross the globe to stop an anarchist from removing the lock on mayhem on the world’s stage and to adopt home the guy who caused them to be a family.
In the new film, Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto turns out bad guy and companions with a wily criminal named Cipher (Charlize Theron), who creates mayhem around the world by digitally managing every car on the road. To save Dom and quit Cipher, the crew embarks on yet another dangerous mission that needs them to combine with former opponent, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham).
The Fate of the Furious Writers also tease plenty of mind-boggling, physics-defying and property-destroying stunts. Among the features are troves of cars raining out of New York City parking garages, Ludacris driving a tank across a frozen tundra and Dwayne Johnson rerouting the trajectory of a torpedo while dangling out of a moving snow sled.
Fate of the Furious is merely over a month away from launching, and Universal has just revealed the final trailer. Similar to previous trailers and TV spots, part of the focus in the latest trailer is on the family’s response to Dom’s partnership with Cipher and their hard work to win him back.
When Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game-and the other crew has been exonerated-the globetrotting crew has found a type of a regular lifestyle. But when a mystical girl (Charlize Theron) seduces Dom into the field of crime he can’t manage to avoid as well as a betrayal of those closest to him, they will deal with challenges that will test them as nothing you've seen prior.
